Return Policy
You have 15 days after delivery to notify us by phone or email of your intent to return or exchange your purchase. We will reply with a return authorization number and clear shipping instructions for you. Never ship your rug without our return authorization. You will be responsible for the full shipping cost for returning the rug to its original point of origin. Credit card payment will be refunded after the returned rug is received and inspected and found to be in “like new” condition.
We cannot offer returns on opened rug pads.
You may also return your rug to the most convenient Rug Decor store location, but all returns must still be within the 15 day time period. You will still be responsible for return freight to the original point of origin, which may not be the store. Credit card refunds are done centrally and may occur up to two business days following a return to a Rug Decor store.
We do not charge a restocking fee on any rug that is returned pursuant to our terms and instructions! Return shipping cost to the original point of origin will be charged.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
- We will have a brand new, 1st quality rug shipped directly to you.
- All product sizes are approximate, we list the sizes provided to us by each manufacturer.
- Depending on the size you purchase, the design on your rug may vary slightly from the image displayed. For example: an 8'x11' rug will have a much more intricate design than a 2'x3' rug.
- Any rug that is damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect will be replaced at no extra charge to you.
- If you notify us by phone or email within 15 days of delivery, you can return or exchange your rug for any reason.
- Acceptance of returned merchandise is subject to your ability to adhere to our return instructions, which will be emailed to you at that time.
- Your area rug return will be refused if:
- it was not identified as being authorized for return
- it shows signs of use or abuse (stains, damage, etc.)
- it was improperly shipped or damaged in shipping
- it was not shipped within 7 days of return instructions being emailed.
- Only unopened rug pads may be returned.
- If your rug is shipped to the shipping address you provided, and the rug is unable to be delivered for any reason, and then you cancel your order, your purchase will be refunded less the cost of freight to return the rug to the original point of origin.
- If you ship the rug back to any location other than the address provided by Rug Décor, your order will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus the cost of return freight.

How Long Does Shipping Take?
Rugs are shipped UPS, Airborne, or FedEx Ground. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Rug Decor cannot guarantee delivery times. Your order will be processed and shipped as quickly as possible, however, once it is in the hands of UPS, DHL, or FedEx we no longer have any control.
How Much are the Shipping Charges?
Shipping is Free to Anywhere in the Contiguous USA!
The price on the screen is all you pay to get a rug shipped to your home. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories will have additional shipping charges. Usually an extra $50 per item will get it to those areas by FedEx. Customers must approve all extra charges before anything is charged to their credit card - and before their rug is shipped. International orders will have additional shipping charges.
Is There Any Sales Tax?
When shopping online with Rug Decor, all of the prices you see already have the sales tax included. The prices you see are the total prices you pay.
Color Variation
Rug colors may vary slightly due to the quality of the monitor and the computer. Make sure that your monitor is set to display the highest available setting for color display, usually 32 bit. All pictures of the rugs come directly from the manufacturer so they will have the truest colors possible. For color accuracy, we don't use any images we have scanned off brochures or pictures taken in our warehouse.
NOTE: Even at the highest quality settings the monitor's Brightness and Contrast settings can change the colors dramatically. That is why we recommend that customers try to see the rugs in person whenever possible. Since we have 24 locations nationwide and others to be open soon, there may be a location close to you.
Rug Decor Price Guarantee
Rug Decor will not knowingly be undersold. If you find a lower price from any continental U.S. store or website on the identical item at any time during the 30 days following purchase, we will refund the difference plus an additional 10% of that difference. Just let us know exactly how and where you found the lower price, and we will issue you a refund. If you have not yet made a purchase, please e-mail or call with where you found the lower price, and we will assist you with your purchase at the Price Guarantee adjusted price. Online auctions, clearance rugs, rugs that are discounted or free as a result of a multiple rug purchase promotion (i.e., “buy one, get one free”), and "factory seconds" and off-quality rugs are excluded from this Price Guarantee.
